During 30 years in the Building Materials, Construction and Contracting areas, we at Al-Fozan Group came to know the electrical power business well. A desire to use only the best in electrical components, such as Distribution Transformers, Medium Voltage Switchgears and Package Substations, led us to a decision to play an active role in their manufacture.

Having identified Wilson Transformer Company of Australia as one of the leaders in the Industry, United Transformers Electric Company was formed in 2001 as a convergence of the extensive experience in manufacturing transformers that Wilson had gathered since their inception in 1933, and the local knowledge and leadership in the construction and contracting industries demonstrated by Al-Fozan over the last thirty years. Utec relies heavily on Wilson’s strength in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance and Research and Development.

This partnership was strengthened, by the signing of a technical cooperation agreement with the Moeller Group of Germany, which enables us to manufacture high quality, competitively priced, gas insulated switchgears with delivery times to suit all of our customers needs.
